The Best Yarn for Crochet Baby Hats
When it comes to choosing yarn for a baby hat, texture is super important. You want to choose a yarn that will feel soft and comforting against baby’s sensitive skin. If possible, visit your local yarn shop and feel the skeins for yourself (sounds like a fun afternoon, right?). If you’re ordering online, choose a yarn with which you’re familiar and know to be soft and cozy.
Also, choose a fiber that’s easy to care for. New parents will appreciate items they can simply throw in the washing machine. Machine-washable cotton, acrylic, or blends are all good options here.
