Hololive Generation 5
Polka Omaru
The cheerful fennec fox clown of NePoLaBo, she wields an assortment of circus props for a versatile and balanced fighting style.
- Improvised Weapon: Her first ability spawns two field weapons that can be used as a melee weapon or thrown.
- Jack of All Stats: Polka is fairly well-rounded, and utilizes both melee and ranged attacks equally well.
Botan Shishiro
The cool lioness of NePoLaBo, who wields a powerful arsenal of ranged weapons.
- Long-Range Fighter: Botan fights exclusively at long range with her guns, and her normal attacks run off an ammo count.
Lamy Yukihana
The drunkard snow elf of NePoLaBo, wielding potent ice magic and her trusty bottle of sake.
- The Alcoholic: True to her character. When she takes a break in the campfire, she'll start drinking her bottle of sake.
- An Ice Person: Fitting for a snow elf, Lamy wields devastating ice magic, and her ultimate attack fills the whole screen with a freezing blizzard.
- Grievous Bottley Harm: Her main weapon is a bottle of sake in which she uses to smack enemies with.
Nene Momosuzu
The super mega galaxy baby victory god alien of NePoLaBo, who wields reliable healing magic to support her teammates.
- Bare-Fisted Monk: Unlike her Genmates Nene fights without weapons. Though given her teddy hands she's actually a bear fisted monk.
- Pest Controller: Nene's charged-up special summons a stag beetle that pesters enemies. It doesn't do a ton of damage but it staggers and disrupts foes, leaving them open for Nene and her allies to finish off.
- Stone Wall: Nene's offensive prowess isn't as potent as Botan or Polka, but she compensates by being sturdier and carrying healing abilities to keep her and her team alive.
Hololive Generation 6/holoX
A secret society who has come to take over the world!
General
- Adaptational Badass: In "canon" hololive lore, holoX is a struggling secret society of bumbling ponkotsus who had to become idols just to get some funds into the coffers because their ineffectual founder keeps wasting their money. Here, they are a very legitimate threat to the world, with endless legions of minions at their disposal, and Lui's stage in particular takes place on something that may be an Airborne Aircraft Carrier. They are also all formidable fighters, including La+, who wields overwhelmingly powerful dark magic despite in canon proper being sealed.
- Defeat Means Friendship: After defeating La+, NePoLaBo reaches out to them and convinces them to stop their plans for world domination, instead opting to take over the world by becoming idols at Hololive instead.
- Red Herring: The opening leads you to believe that they're responsible for kidnapping YAGOO. The ending reveals that they had nothing to do with YAGOO's disappearance, with the real culprit being heavily implied to be in HoloCure.
La+ Darknesss
The leader of holoX, wielding powerful dark magic.
- Casting a Shadow: Her magic usually takes the form of bolts of dark energy.
- Final Boss: She serves as the final opponent of the story.
- Glass Cannon: As a playable character, La+ has incredible damage output with enough range to stay out of the way of most attacks, and can quickly wipe out mobs with her basic attacks and abilities. However, she is quite fragile and quick to flinch.
- Orbiting Particle Shield: One of her abilities, both as a boss and a playable character, summons a ring of orbiting dark orbs around her.
- Shock and Awe: Her ultimate rains down a barrage of massive dark lightning bolts from the sky.
- Technicolor Fire: One of her abilities, both as a boss and a playable character, creates a bonfire of dark purple flames on the ground.
Koyori Hakui
The Mad Scientist coyote of holoX, wielding an assortment of chemical and technological warfare.
- Poisonous Person: She can throw bottles of poison to create a pool that deals constant damage in its vicinity.
- Status Effects: Koyori's power attack hurls a triple spread of syringes that can inflict random debuffs on enemies.
- Wake-Up Call Boss: She is the first boss of Stage 1, and is no pushover, and even your own band of minions does little to stop her since she'll send her Assistants to bulldoze anyone in their path. Her syringe throw, which she uses and abuses constantly, especially in the latter portion of her fight, is almost impossible to evade without mastering the dodge maneuver and has very little telegraphing to boot. On top of all this, her battle happens before you get access to Nodoka and the high-quality healing items she offers. Getting certain items and levels does remedy this.
Iroha Kazama
The noble definitely-not-a-ninja samurai of holoX, armed with her trusty blade Chakimaru.
- Flash Step: Her first ability has her quickly rush forward with a slash.
- Lightning Bruiser: Iroha attacks very quickly and can dish out plenty of damage in a good area.
- Sword Beam: Both playable and boss versions has this as a special attack. The playable Iroha will send out a single wave while the boss version will send out hundreds.
Chloe Sakamata
The (stinky) orca of holoX, armed with secret agent-style attacks.
- Poisonous Person: The Stinky Bathbomb weapon is themed after her, creating a poison cloud that slows and poisons enemies in its vicinity.
Lui Takane
The second-in-command (and arguably the true leader) of holoX, armed with dual pistols and a quick whip.
- Blow You Away: She can summon tornadoes as one of her attacks.
- Long-Range Fighter: Similar to Botan, Lui's main weapon is guns with an ammunition count.
- Mechanically Unusual Fighter: Despite having guns as a main weapon, her power attack and first ability are close-range attacks. Additionally, her second ability allows her normal attack to home in on enemies and gives her unlimited ammo for a short time instead of the traditional Area of Effect attack. This forces Lui to adjust her range more frequently than the rest of the members to get the most out of her kit.
Other hololive members
Kaela Kovalskia
The cool (NOT cute) blacksmith of Holo ID Generation 3, who will upgrade and enhance your equipment for the right price.
- Intrepid Merchant: Once you beat a stage, she'll be outside a campsite so you can sell items to her. She'll sometimes set shop in the middle of a stage for you to buy and sell items to, such as the last stage.
- Vocal Dissonance: Anyone expecting Kaela's usual deep Indonesian-accented voice will be completely caught off-guard with how high-pitched and cutesy her voice is here.
Kureiji Ollie
- Off with His Head!: Non-lethally as she is a zombie, and her head is detached from her body. A side mission involves putting her head back on her body.
Nodoka Harusaki
One of the managers for hololive Japan. Like Kaela, she can sell and buy items from you.
- Intrepid Merchant: Like Kaela, she has items to sell and buy from you. Unlike Kaela, she doesn't appear mid-stage.
NPCs
Fans
The fans of NePoLaBo who have been captured by holoX, who will gladly assist you in battle once freed.
- Artificial Stupidity: When they join you, they'll end up getting bulldozed by enemies and bosses, and will wander in acid pits.
- Assist Character: Once the player saves them, they'll fight alongside you.
- Zerg Rush: While they lack self-perservation, the fans can really overwhelm enemies if they are kept alive and the player works in tandem with them.
